Today's video looks at some of the swing-trading ideas of prominent asset manager from the US, Linda Raschke. We are looking at a 2-hourly AUD/USD chart from 19 August through to September, on which we have applied a 5-period moving average. The key here is to pick up the bigger swings and not the small ones. The theory is that if a market closes on one side of the moving average for 8 consecutive periods, you go with the trade for another 8 periods.
